Join Hammer & Stain East Michigan on Sunday, November 22 at 12:30 pm for our first Mommy & Me workshop!

Get ready for a merry little crafting adventure! In this Mommy & Me workshop, you and your kiddo will team up to create holiday pieces that are cute, custom, and totally keepsake‑worthy.

Choose to make a Santa Treat Tray, a Stocking Holder, or both! (If planning to make both a tray and stocking holder, please plan to stay the entire afternoon in order to complete both items. Because of the nature of the projects, we recommend a minimum age of six year old children for this workshop.

🍪 Santa Treat Trays

Your tray starts with a fresh coat of paint in your chosen color. Once it dries, you’ll place your selected stencil design and paint in the details—your kiddo will love helping with this part! After your design dries, studio staff will pour a thin layer of food safe resin onto your tray. (Resin takes a minimum of 15 hours to cure so therefore Santa Treat Trays must spend the night!)

🎄 Stocking Holders

Paint your board, let it dry, then apply your chosen stencil design and paint it in. Once your design is finished and dry, you’ll add wooden knobs and leave with a ready‑to‑hang holiday piece. Note, all three stocking designs can be altered for the number of stockings you need. Please indicate in the Personalization box, how many stocking holders you need.

Stocking Holder Pricing:

6x12 (2–3 stockings): $25
6x18 (4–5 stockings): $35
6x24 (6–7 stockings): $45

Cancellation Policy

Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production of your personalized stencil. If you would like to cancel your reservation, you must give a minimum of 48 hour notice.

Please note a restocking fee of 30% of the total amount of the workshop will be deducted from your refund. Same day cancellations or no-shows will not be eligible for a refund. Cancellations will be processed on the day we receive your cancellation request. It may take up to 2 weeks for the refund to return to the account you used to purchase your items.

Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.

Guest Policy

Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered
guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public
workshop or private party. Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers. Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to
approval.

Wood

This is a natural wood workshop, so your sign will have random cracks,
chips, knots and other natural blemishes that give it character! Some peeling may occur. We will do our very best to minimize disturbances to the words and make everything look intentional, but due to the nature of the workshop we can make no guarantees. Please keep in mind, no sign is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted, but it will certainly be wall worthy!
