    Kinusaiga 101:  No Sewing Required!, Sunday, August 16 at 1:00 PM Hammer & Stain East Michigan – 101 State Street, Suite A, Harbor Beach, MI

    Discover the quiet beauty and mesmerizing technique of Kinusaiga, the Japanese art of fabric‑style patchwork created without any sewing. Using fabrics, you’ll tuck each piece into carved grooves to build a stunning mosaic-style design — calming, intricate, and surprisingly beginner-friendly.

    Finished designs are 4.75” x 6.5” with four beautiful design options to pick from:

    • A fish
    • A rowboat
    • A tulip
    • A sunflower

    During this workshop, you’ll learn the traditional Kinusaiga technique step-by-step and leave with a unique, mess free project that you’ll love!

    Cost: $50 - All materials, tools, and instruction are included — just bring your creativity.

    No refunds for cancellations.  Registration ends on July 24.

    Cancellation Policy

    Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production of your personalized stencil. If you would like to cancel your reservation, you must give a minimum of 48 hour notice.

    Please note a restocking fee of 30% of the total amount of the workshop will be deducted from your refund. Same day cancellations or no-shows will not be eligible for a refund. Cancellations will be processed on the day we receive your cancellation request. It may take up to 2 weeks for the refund to return to the account you used to purchase your items.

    Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.

    Guest Policy

    Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered
    guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public
    workshop or private party. Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers. Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to
    approval.
