Join us on Sunday, August 30 at 1:00 pm at the Hammer & Stain East Michigan studio, 101 State Street, Suite A, Harbor Beach where you’ll turn a well‑loved hardcover book into a whimsical, one‑of‑a‑kind vase. You’ll transform the pages into sculpted folds, creating a beautiful standing vase that blends vintage charm with handmade artistry.

Bring your own hardcover book to give it new life or choose one from our studio collection. Once your vase is shaped, you’ll fill it with a curated mix of silk blooms, wooden flowers, and lush greenery to create a floral arrangement that’s full of personality and perfect for display.  (We will be cutting pages so if you bring your own book, make sure you are okay with cutting it!)

This workshop is equal parts crafting, upcycling, and floral play — a cozy afternoon of creativity where every book becomes a blooming centerpiece.

Cost of workshop:  $55  No refunds for cancellations.

Registration ends on August 15.

How to Register

  1. Choose your project and design options from the drop down menu.
  2. If applicable include any relevant personal information needed to complete your stencil such as name or date.
  3. Confirm and Agree to our policies and terms.
  4. Add to Cart and checkout.

Cancellation Policy

Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production of your personalized stencil. If you would like to cancel your reservation, you must give a minimum of 48 hour notice.

Please note a restocking fee of 30% of the total amount of the workshop will be deducted from your refund. Same day cancellations or no-shows will not be eligible for a refund. Cancellations will be processed on the day we receive your cancellation request. It may take up to 2 weeks for the refund to return to the account you used to purchase your items.

Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.

Guest Policy

Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered
guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public
workshop or private party. Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers. Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to
approval.
